Mission: The Historic Mauldin House and Garden Museum strives to preserve and share our local history with the community and its visitors through engaging displays and exhibitions as well as community activities and events. The museum creates meaningful experiences for the public while working to foster an educational dialogue about the history of Clarkesville and rural North Georgia.

The Mauldin House and Garden property consists of:

  • A historic house built in c.1880 which holds local history artifacts and stories
  • An authentic millinery shop containing over 200 vintage hats
  • A single-room log cabin built in c.1820s
  • A beautiful garden, coy pond, and benches
  • A public restroom

Hours of Operation:
Wednesday-Friday 10am to 5pm
Saturday 8am to 5pm
(Closed Daily from 1 to 2 for Lunch)
