After years of being the movie house in Clarkesville and a retail store in later years, this building, built in 1938 and located just off the square, became the home of the Habersham Community Theatre in 1999. Due to the efforts of many people, the theater is being beautifully restored. The non-profit theater group runs a full season of plays with the talents of local players, and provides a summer series with a variety of national musicians. |
