Clarkesville City Hall, located on East Water Street, shares the city block with the fire department, police department, and the Welcome Center, and is across the street from the Clarkesville-Habersham County Library. The city council meets here every first Monday of the month, and the municipal court convenes here as well.
City elections are held on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November.
