CLARKESVILLE CITY PARK AND SWIMMING POOL

Clarkesville's City Park's swimming pool is open daily throughout the summer months. Adult swim times are noon until 1:00, open swimming from 1:00-5:00 p.m.; 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A variety of swimming programs are offered. For more information, call 754-9528.

The old community house was renovated by the city and the Georgia Heritage Center for the Arts, a non-profit organization supporting Georgia artists and craftspeople. Based in Tallulah Falls, GHCA provides a Clarkesville location for art and music classes and a variety of workshops, ranging from crafts to fishing and tying flies. Space is available for community functions such as meetings and luncheons.
