Downtown Development Authority

The Clarkesville Downtown Development Authority is focused on the improvement of downtown. The members of the authority are local residents or business owners appointed by the city council. The Authority i is empowered under state law to: Enter into contracts, provide loans, purchase property, receive grants, borrow revenue bonds, borrow money.
