Gardens and Grounds

Charle Statler, Superintendent

The focus of the City of Clarkesville Gardens and Grounds Department encompasses the overall aesthetics of our community. The department works towards creating and maintaining uniquely landscaped areas including our Parks, Greenway, City Hall, Mauldin House Gardens, Public Safety Facility, Down town Square, and Gateways.

It is a goal of this department to carry through one harmonious theme of why Clarkesville stands out as a special place to visit and perhaps move to. Energy is also focused on building a better awareness of environmental sustainability through projects including recycling, litter control and composting.
